Megan Hutton: Poetry was my first love. Through it I was able to make sense of the world. The sixties gave me an outlet to share my writing. I have wonderful memories of reading my poetry at coffee houses in Vancouver, British Columbia. The Bunkhouse always had a spot for me along with performers such as Sonny Terry and Brownie McGhee, Ann Mortifee, and Jose Feliciano.
