Priya Kumari is a multi-award-winning children’s author whose books celebrate cultural heritage, compassion, and the power of storytelling. Born in the foothills of the Himalayas in India, she grew up surrounded by nature, spirituality, and books—experiences that continue to inspire her writing. Urvashi Dubey is an award-winning illustrator known for her imaginative and expressive picture books. With more than twenty titles to her credit, she has received multiple honors in India for her illustration and design work. Inspired by her family’s Jain traditions, she felt a deep connection to "My Paryushana" and joined as co-author, contributing both words and art to portray a festival close to her heart.
