J. S. Webb lives in Brighton and has been reading philosophy from the East and West for 25 years. He completed his BA in philosophy at Sussex University in 2014. Since then he has traveled the world from the Himalayas to the Amazon, all the while researching and working on his first book. His main area of interest is the philosophy of mind, and is passionate about idealist philosophy. He is also a keen bibliophile, hiker, fire dancer, scuba diver, stilt walker, singer and guitarist. He argues that physicalism is the main cause of meaninglessness in Western societies.
