The true freedom of women, their position and their potential have been revealed by Islam, spiritually, morally and materially. Islam is the first religion that has fully established the rights of women and has declared them equal to men in religious and spiritual terms. It has established the permanent and prominent position of women in civilized life and declared their ownership rights. The responsibilities and rights of women have been made a part of the divine book as a sacred duty. Islam has not only established the respect and dignity of women in every situation, but has also declared the marital relationship as a sacred relationship and a sacred covenant.
