Raj K. Keservani, MPharm, is an Associate Professor, Faculty of B. Pharmacy, CSM Group of Institutions, Allahabad, India. He has more than 12 years of academic (teaching) experience from various institutes of India in pharmaceutical education. He has published many peer-reviewed papers in the field of pharmaceutical sciences in national and international journals, over 40 book chapters, several co-authored books, and nearly 30 edited books. He is also active as a reviewer for several international scientific journals. Mr. Keservani graduated with a pharmacy degree from the Department of Pharmacy, Kumaun University, Nainital (Uttarakhand), India. He received his Master of Pharmacy (specialization in pharmaceutics) from the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya, Bhopal, India. Mr. Keservani is a life member of the Society of Pharmaceutical Education and Research. His research interests include nutraceutical and functional foods, novel drug delivery systems, transdermal drug delivery/drug delivery, health science, cancer biology, and neurobiology. Julia Scherer Santos, PhD, is a member of the Faculty of Pharmacy at the Federal University of Juiz de Fora, Juiz de Fora, Brazil, where she works as a works as a consultant in cosmetics development, registration in regulatory agency, and regulatory aspects. She has experience as a Professor in Pharmacy, teaching courses in Aesthetics and Cosmetics, and she has developed teaching materials for undergraduate courses. She holds a doctorate in Pharmaceutical Nanotechnology. She is a specialist in cosmetology and cosmeceuticals applied to aesthetics and a specialist in aesthetic and cosmetic health. She also has experience in the public health area. She works mainly on the following subjects: nanotechnology, cosmetology, pharmaceutical technology, and aesthetics.
