Yiskah Rosenfeld is the author of Tasting Flight (Madville Publishing, 2024), runner up for the Arthur Smith Prize and finalist for the Wheelbarrow Books Prize. She holds an MFA in literature and creative writing from Mills College. A Pushcart Prize nominee, awards include the Anna Davidson Rosenberg Award, the Reuben Rose Memorial Prize, and runner-up for the Jeff Marks Poetry Prize. Poems appear in The Seattle Review, Lilith Magazine, The Bitter Oleander, December Magazine, Rattle, Wild Gods: An Anthology of Ecstatic Poetry, and elsewhere. Yiskah taught poetry to youth in underserved communities as a San Francisco WritersCorps instructor and was an adjunct professor in literature at Temple University in Philadelphia. Her passion for collaboration with other artists led to poetry residencies at the Arad Arts Project in Israel and the Brandeis Collegiate Institute in Simi Valley, California.
