Cary Smith wrote for his local newspaper when still at scghoo. First job was working in Fleet Street, London. Magazine and newspaper articles followed. He was then head hunted for the entertainment business and at one time booked the Rolling Stones for £50. His first novels were A Shot of Snuff and Tear My Heart. Then Dead Spit the first in the Lincolnshire Murders series.
