As the only repository for global fishing data, FAO regularly collects and analyses fisheries statistics. All the information that was traditionally distributed in three volumes (Fisheries Statistics for Commodities; Aquaculture Production; and Capture Production) is now available on one CD-ROM, together with a printed volume that contains related introductions, summaries, maps, notes and essential table. The information itself has not changed, only the presentation, which now has added functionalities. From the CD-ROM, you can download, consult, share and store all the data previously provided in print only. This volume presents world fishery statistics for recent years ending in 2006.
