Le parler Viking is born of a desire to catalog simple and didactic keywords of the Scandinavian society of the Middle Ages. The translations of the sagas are sometimes interspersed with native words, sometimes leaving the reader puzzled as to their true meaning. By collecting these words, we hope to be a first step towards the discovery the fascinating society of old and medieval Scandinavia.

Entries, intentionally short, have been collected by wide themes, allowing the reader to follow the interest of the moment.
