This Thorne Smith short story originally appeared in Esquire magazine in 1934. It tells the story of a fox-hunt in Texas, with the 'Henry' of the title being the star hound of the pack. However, the tale focuses mainly on the exploits of the drunken humans taking part in the hunt. We are republishing this work with a brand new introductory biography on Jefferies, to help place this publication in context with his other works.
