This horror remains the hardest and most tragic event our family has ever experienced. There was no final note or good-bye-nothing to help us understand. I couldn't stop crying for days, weeks. Life felt endless, hopeless. I had no desire to go on living. After our son's tragic death, I searched Christian and secular sources for material that would help me try to understand, learn, and heal, but nothing relieved the aching pain.
