The proposal of this work is the verification of the contributions introduced in the public administration through the Portal of Transparency in the Information Society: From the point of view of the automated systems in the personal data protection law. The general objective is to verify what the transparency portal, against the background of the personal data protection law, contributes to improving the public administration. The information society has developed rapidly, from its creation for military purposes to its daily use, be it for laser or work. In this way, the information society acts as a curtain for the public administration regarding the demonstration and accountability of public administration acts to society. Based on the proposed theme, the contributions brought by the Transparency Portal will be identified and if the creation of a primer explaining what personal data are and which data belong to the State, is it possible to solve the legal demands arising from this doubt? For this purpose, the research method used is the deductive to verify the effective contribution or not to society of the transparency portal in accordance with the data protection law.
